S – “And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. And Moses said, ‘I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.’ When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, ‘Moses, Moses!’ And he said, ‘Here I am.’” Exodus 3:2-4 (ESV)
O – When God wanted to speak to Moses, He used a bush.
A – If God can use a common desert bush to show His glory, He can use me. I feel like I’m no more than a bush. I can’t do anything on my own. I continually fail. I can’t make myself spiritual, holy or good. If any good comes from me, it’s only when His Spirit is at work in me.
P – Lord, please use me. Show your glory in my life. I can’t do it Lord. I can’t even be good. I’m not even a nice person. I’m selfish, impatient, rude, timid. I’m like a bush, just sitting there. Please be glorified in my life in spite of me. Help me to hear your call and answer as Moses did, “Here I am.” Only, help me obey without question.
