Say Yes to God

We are in week 4 of the Online Bible Study, “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God” with Proverbs 31 ministries. One challenge this week was to write our own morning prayer as a commitment to say yes to God.  Here is my prayer to God:

Good morning Father! Thank you for giving me another day of life. As I start this day, I want to yield my heart to you. Help me to love you with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. I give to you all that I am, all that I love, all that I own and all I will experience today. I want to say yes to you today in all things. Please help me remain in you today, help me to hear and recognize your voice. I depend on you for the ability and strength to obey you. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to love others as you have loved me. Help me to see each person I encounter today with your eyes. I can’t do this in my own strength. I depend on you, Jesus, to be my strength, to love through me and enable me to bring glory to my LORD and God.  Help me say no to selfish living and walk in your love. I love you LORD. Thank you for whatever this day will bring.
